Renault is a French automaker that is part of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance, and is one of the biggest carmakers in the world. Wearnes Automotive is the official distributor for Renault cars in Singapore, and its showroom is located at 28 Leng Kee Road. It is known mostly for its mainstream models, and is one of the pioneers of the multi purpose vehicle (MPV) when it introduced the Espace in 1984. But it is also known for its strong motorsport heritage, having enjoyed success in the World Rallying Championship (WRC) as well as in Formula One and Formula E, and the technology developed from its motorsport activities have often trickled its way down to its road cars. Most of Renault’s models on sale today are SUV/crossovers, such as the Captur, Kadjar and Arkana, but it also offers the enthusiast-oriented Megane RS hot hatchback.
